Welcome to Illinois Masonic Photo Alert
What you will find here and how you can view or download the Masonic event images. Email alerts are explained.
Why This Site Exists
As Assistant Grand Historian, I take a lot of photos and a few videos as well. Brethren frequently ask me how they can obtain copies of photos that I take. That's what this site is about. Here, you can obtain copies of any and all of the photos I take free to share with other Masons, family and friends. There's no charge to do this.
Signing Up
You don't have to sign up to access the photos, but if you do, you'll get email every time something of interest is posted, giving you a chance to visit the site and view or download whatever new content is of interest. Signing up is easy and free and of course, we keep your name and email address strictly confidential, and never sell, barter, exchange, cut, carve, stamp nor engrave it anywhere.
You can unsubscribe at any time by logging in and changing your email preferences.
Pick Your Interests
When you sign up, or any time after, you can choose the kinds of announcements you receive. I group my photos by Masonic Unit and Event Date. So for example, if I post photos of a degree conferral by Paul Revere Lodge on June 12, 2010, you would receive a notice of that if you were signed up to receive Paul Revere notices. You'll see the whole list of choices when you sign up.
Email Alerts
Each time a new set of photos of interest is posted, you'll receive an email message announcing that fact, along with links to enable you to browse, view, or download the new images.
